Gray does not have to be quiet. Coral and dusty pink roses bloom down both front panels of this deep slate knit, with sage leaves and small red buds tucked in between. The shawl collar softens the neckline, ribbed cuffs finish the three-quarter sleeves, and pleats at the front and back waist give it a shape. It goes on open and stays that way, which is the whole point of a good cardigan.
