Throw this on over anything and the outfit is finished. Deep amethyst knit, a soft shawl collar, and cream embroidery climbing both front panels in curling vines and full-blown roses. It hangs open with nothing to button and nothing to fuss with. Pleats at the front and back waist keep the shape honest, ribbed cuffs finish the three-quarter sleeves, and patch pockets sit at the hip. The embroidery only gets prettier the closer anyone looks.
