Time to Take a 'Crafter'noon Break!

Time to Take a 'Crafter'noon Break!

Hey there, crafting enthusiasts! March is finally here, and you know what that means—it's National Craft Month! This annual celebration of creativity and crafting is the perfect opportunity to unleash your inner artist, try your hand at something new, and share your crafty creations with the world. At Modern Prairie, we're beyond excited to dive into this month-long celebration with you.

Crafting isn't just a fun hobby—it also offers a wide range of benefits, especially for women over 50. Engaging in creative activities like crafting can help keep your mind sharp, provide a much-needed break from the hustle and bustle of daily life, and promote a sense of calm and relaxation. Crafting allows you to express your creativity, focus your mind, and create something beautiful with your own hands.

To help you make the most of National Craft Month, we're thrilled to offer a variety of products that will inspire your creativity and get those crafty juices flowing. From paint-by-numbers kits (fun fact: did you know that Leonardo Da Vinci created the first paint-by-numbers?) to shadowbox kits, flower pressing kits, and puzzles, we've got everything you need to embark on a crafting adventure.

One of the best things about crafting is that you can share your creations with others. Whether you pass them along to your favorite people or craft together with loved ones, crafting is a wonderful way to connect and bond with others while taking a well-deserved time-out for yourself.

Many of you already participate in crafting, and we are amazed at how talented, and creative, you are - in fact you inspire us daily.

So, what's your favorite crafting activity? We'd love to hear about it! Share your thoughts with us in the comments below and let's make this National Craft Month one to remember!

Hi Melissa, this is my first time I’m a new member to the group. I just received my first order of hand towels, shirt and my prairie apron which I love them all very much. (Laura) I can’t begin to tell you how much LHOTP means to me. I am taking care of my mom right now she is really sick and getting ready to meet the Lord so I was not able to go and meet you in California which broke my heart. I hope I will be able to meet y’all real soon.
Love from a true fan

Melissa,
( always Laura “half-pint” to me).
I know I wasn’t able to come to the Simi Valley event and I wish I had.
LHOTP meant so much to me, I hope to one day meet you if there’s another LHOTP event in CA.
Thank-you to you and the cast of LHOTP for the memories and encouragement.
