When Nicole and I dreamed up Modern Prairie, we imagined a place where women could come together to create, learn, gather around the table, and discover that it's never too late to begin something new.
Because of you, that dream continues to grow.
Your encouragement, your stories, your participation in our community, and every purchase you've made have helped us build something that is so much bigger than products. You've helped create a place where women truly belong.
Behind the scenes, we've been working on some incredibly exciting things. From our very first cookbook to new collections, new experiences, and even some ideas just beginning to take shape, there's so much more to come.
Every time you choose Modern Prairie, you're helping us continue building this community and bringing those dreams to life.

I have been a part of Modern Prairie for over three years now. I remember when I joined there was only 5000 members here. I’ve had the chance to be a part of one of the very early classes and was able to meet our founder, Nana pint! And I’ve watched us grow and change over those years. I’ve grown to believe that we are a community that is so different from anything else you will find on social media. This community is based on women for women. There’s something about feminine energy, that when we come together, there is nothing we cannot accomplish. We also support one another,… To be a part of a community solely made of women that never stand in judgment of each other, this is a warm and welcoming place to be. And who would not want to be a part of that? There is a little something here for everybody, and if this group has not thought of something that you are interested in, let your voice be heard. The two wonderful women that run Modern Prairie are always open to new ideas! Anytime I have mentioned Modern Prairie to a friend or even a stranger, I sing the praises of who and what we represent. And the mentality, it takes a village stands very true here in Modern Prairie. Thank you, Melissa and Nicole, for believing, for welcoming, and epitomizing what family is all about.
I love the clothes. Many are sold out in size large or greater. I’m really interested in the Prairie sleep top and the bottoms also pictured with it. Is it possible that these will be available again in large sizes?

I was delighted to discover your online shop. I am a huge fan of Little House on the Prairie (La casa nella prateria) from Italy, and being able to buy clothes that transport me back to that time is thrilling.
