Modern Prairie Returns & Exchanges Policies:

At Modern Prairie Inc., we stand behind the quality of our products and want every purchase to be a positive experience. We will do our best to make things right if you are not satisfied.  Please email Returns@ModernPrairie.com and they will facilitate the process. 

RETURN POLICY:

 * Full-price items may be returned for a full refund within 21 days of the order date. Items must be returned in their original condition, unworn, unwashed, and with all tags attached.
* Sale items (items ending in $.99) are eligible for store credit only if returned within 30 days of the order date.
* Final sale items (items ending in $.97) are not eligible for return nor exchange.
* Returns requested after 21 days and up to 30 days from the order date will receive store credit only.
* Returns requested after 30 days from the order date will not be accepted.
* Modern Mystery Items are not eligible for return.

Return Label Timeline:
Once a return shipping label has been issued via email, items must be shipped within 5 business days. Returns shipped outside of this timeframe will be ineligible for a refund, and the package will be returned to sender.

Limited Edition Items:
  * Limited edition items are returnable for store credit only. These single-batch products will be labeled “Limited Edition” in their product names.  Exceptions will be made for items that are damaged or defective.

Pottery & Glassware:
   * Pottery and Glassware are NOT returnable unless damaged.

Rules:
   * Returns will not be accepted if the item is a final sale - products ending in $.97.
   * Refunds will not be applied if the item has been worn, damaged, or defective.
   * Returns that are missing tags will incur a $15.00 restocking fee.

International Returns:
    * Free shipping is NOT applicable for international returns.

Other:  
   * Shipping fees are not reimbursable for returned items.
   * A refund confirmation will be emailed directly from the Modern Prairie website, and the amount will post to your credit or debit card within 7 to 10 business days.

To ensure timely and efficient processing for all of our customers, we kindly ask that all return shipments be sent within 5 business days of receiving your return authorization.

We’re happy to accept returns that follow the process outlined, but we’re unable to accept return packages that are shipped weeks after the return was originally approved. This helps us manage inventory, maintain quality, and continue offering the best service possible.


EXCHANGES:
   * Items can be exchanged within 21 days from the shipment date by emailing returns@modernprairie.com. Please include your order number and the new sizes you are requesting in this email. Exchanges after 21 days are not eligible for exchange.
   * Our customer service team will email you a return shipping label immediately and process a new order for the exchange. Once the returned items have been received and inspected in our warehouse, your exchange will be sent out to you.
  * Modern Prairie will pay the shipping fees for ONE exchange only (this includes the returned item and the exchanged item from our warehouse). Multiple exchanges and their shipping fees are the responsibility of the customer.
 * Exchanges must be returned in their original condition, unworn, unwashed, and with all labels attached.
 * Exchanges for items at different price points will be managed accordingly. If an exchange is placed for a higher-priced item, the customer will be charged the difference. For a lower-priced item, the customer will be refunded the difference.
 * Items are NOT eligible for exchange if they are worn, damaged, or defective.
 * Exchanges that are missing tags will incur a $15.00 restocking fee.

Price Adjustment Policy
At Modern Prairie, we thoughtfully price our products to reflect the care, craftsmanship, and small-batch production that go into everything we create. Because we work in limited quantities and honor fair pricing for all customers, we’re unable to offer price adjustments on past purchases.
