Giving Tuesday: Friendship Quilts Auction for Save the Children

An expression of gratitude, community, and hands at work for good.

This Giving Tuesday, our hearts are extra full.

Back in April, we invited our Modern Prairie community to join us in creating something meaningful together—The Friendship Quilt Project. We hoped for a handful of squares crafted with love. What we received was an outpouring of creativity, generosity, and connection from women across the country.

Hundreds of squares were stitched, embroidered, and pieced together with love & kindness. Each block carried a name—proof that even in a busy world, our hands still know how to slow down and make something beautiful.

And from those blocks, five stunning quilts emerged.

In September, these quilts hung proudly at the Garden of Quilts Show in Lehi, Utah—each one a testament to friendship, craft, and the extraordinary spirit of our community.

As Giving Tuesday arrives, these quilts will take on a new and meaningful purpose.

Save the Children & The Friendship Quilt Auction

As Jennifer mentioned, each quilt will be auctioned off with every dollar benefiting Save the Children, an organization dedicated to ensuring that children everywhere have the chance to grow, learn, and feel safe. From newborn health services to education in crisis situations, Save the Children brings hope and essential care to communities around the world—and we are honored to support their work.
