We happen to prefer to eat fruit at room temperature, especially berries but keeping fruit outside of a refrigerator can be tricky.   Our 'bowlander' berry bowl has nine drainage holes to let air circulate around fruit, releasing moisture that can spur mold and rot, enabling your fruit to last longer.  The bowl size is generous enough for a standard container of blueberries or raspberries and can also hold about a dozen strawberries and several grouping of grapes or even lemons (depending on size, of course).  You will love adding this to your table and sharing it's benefits with your friends and family. The soft, Prairie Linen glaze blends effortlessly into any kitchen and is designed for daily use. The ridged impressions are made by the potter’s hands at the wheel inspired by the glacial landscape ridges of Wisconsin. The glaze is dishwasher and microwave safe and won’t stain Each piece is wheel-thrown by hand so the porringers may have unique characteristics and may be slightly different from one another.
