Modern Prairie: The Art of Pie – Essential Holiday Pies

The Art of Pie - A Two-Part Workshop Series Part Two: The Art & Science of Essential Holiday Pies **This class will build upon Cheryl's Art of Pie Crust course. Participants will use the dough created in that course OR will need to purchase two frozen doughs before this class to make the pies. Holiday pies are a delightful treat that increases the fun of holiday celebration. Join Melissa and Chef Cheryl, author of "For the Love of Pies" in this live, virtual pie-making class. This class will build upon the previous workshop where Chef taught us all how to make pie dough. In this virtual hands-on class, you will learn the techniques and secrets in making incredible pies from scratch. We will be making twists on the classics like Pumpkin, and Maple Pecan Pie that will be ready to serve for Thanksgiving dessert (or all season long) and sure to be crowd pleasers! This class is suitable for ALL skill levels.  



About the Chef: Cheryl Perry is a classically trained chef with more than 20 years of experience working as a culinary instructor, restaurant owner, and consultant in the New York City area. Her book, For The Love of Pies, offers sweet & savory recipes.

Cooking class is fully interactive.
Chef Cheryl and Melissa (along with other surprise guests) will accompany you throughout the entire process.
There will be enough time for questions in our “Ask A Chef” section during the course.
