One Great Sauce, Three Hearty Meals. Let's Get Cooking!

Learn to create an easy, tasty, and versatile tomato ragu that will be used in three recipes.

Join Melissa and Chef Suzan as they teach you to create Baked Ziti, Polenta with Sausages, and Lasagna Rollups, using one great pot of sauce.

There’s nothing quite like homemade tomato sauce. Even though you can buy it by the jar-full at the grocery store, it doesn’t hold a candle to the kind you make at home. We’re making up a big batch on the weekend and using it across three amazingly hearty meals.  The best part is that you can freeze them for two more tasty dinners later in the week.

Chef Suzan knows that a simple yet versatile sauce can make all the difference when you have to switch gears in the kitchen. Using industrious ingredients and adaptable recipes, she’ll show how keeping it simple can create multiple menus on a moderate income.

Workshop: Chef Suzan and Melissa (along with other surprise guests!) will accompany you throughout the entire process.
Recipes: Master Chef will share lists of recipes, ingredients, and equipment ahead of time, once you register. Ingredients can be adapted for dietary restrictions or lack of availability.

Technology: Connect with the chef using Zoom on your computer, tablet, or mobile device.

Class Participation: Each class is fully interactive and Chef demonstrates each step and assists you as you progress. Chime in with questions through audio or chat. Use of video is optional.
