Join Danielle, Owner & Founder of Abeille Voyante Tea Company in Pittsburgh, PA as she spills the tea of this popular brewed beverage.  

Steeped in culture, there’s still a lot of mystery behind tea.  Go beyond bagged tea to explore a variety of flavors with Danielle as she gives some useful tea tips and best practices that she’s acquired throughout her 20 years in the business.  She’ll also share insights into the health benefits of different varieties of leaves and why they’re good for our mind, body, and soul.

Danielle Spinola has been interested in the healing properties of plants for her entire life. After spending time in the corporate and non profit worlds, she took a fateful trip to China where she was immersed into the birthplace of tea. It was there that she decided tea was her calling. She opened Tupelo Honey Teas in August of 2007 and slowly built her business. In 2022 Tupelo Honey Teas rebranded as Abeille Voyante Tea Co, which literally means “the seeing bee”, a name that is rooted in the heart of what Danielle does… blending by intuition and knowledge. When she isn’t working on her business, you can find this mom of 2, knitting, eating vege food, or renovating an old building from the 1800’s which will be the future home of Abeille Voyante Tea Co.

Abeille Voyante Tea Co is a woman owned, community minded, loose leaf tea company located in Millvale PA. They have been small batch blending organically grown teas in Pittsburgh since 2007 and were formerly known as Tupelo Honey Teas. The mission of the business is to create community through tea. Tea blends are developed by using knowledge of the herbs healing properties along with flavor profiles to create delicious drinks that are simultaneously good for your body and soul.
